I am a PhD student at the University of Cádiz, where I study the microbiota of carnivorous plants and its ecological implications. My research focuses on the rare monoespecific species Drosophyllum lusitanicum, aiming to better understand plant–microbe interactions.
I obtained my degree in Biology from the University of Granada and a Master’s in Genetics and Evolution. I am particularly interested in genetics, evolutionary biology, floral reproduction, and botany, and in how these fields can be integrated to explore plant ecology from a multidisciplinary perspective.
